Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is strengthening a highly experienced team offering clients combined specialist investment and occupational advice in the industrial and logistics sector, with the addition of a new director.

Alex Carr, Industrial Agency Director at LSH in Birmingham, is joining Head of Industrial and Logistics Division Steve Williams, to steer the team alongside Nick Lloyd, Head of Capital Markets, in LSH's London office.

Alex, who has enjoyed a successful eight years working in the West Midlands industrial, warehouse and distribution market, will relocate to London in January.

He will work closely with Steve and Nick to develop the dedicated sector specialist service for clients, offering high quality investment agency, consultancy, funding and occupational advice in the industrial and logistics sector.

Steve said: “A grass roots understanding of the industrial and logistics market from an occupational perspective is fundamentally important when considering investment in the sector. By combining capital markets expertise with our market knowledge our investor clients benefit from the best possible advice available in the sector.”

Major clients the team will be working alongside include Gazeley, Roxhill, Prologis, Legal & General and LaSalle Investment Managers. Last year, LSH let, sold or acquired 20million sq ft of industrial and distribution space for clients.
