Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has successfully completed the letting of unit 2 at Airways Distribution Park, acting on behalf of LondonMetric Property Plc, the transaction was completed in collaboration with joint agents at Realest. Guidance was also provided on the level of refurbishment required to meet current market demands.
Aalco, a leading supplier of metals, has taken the space in support of its strategic business and operational efficiencies, in which the agreement was reached during the refurbishment process, allowing negotiations to progress swiftly and ensuring a smooth transition post-completion.
The 32,201 sq ft warehouse comprises a semi-detached unit with a secure yard. A comprehensive refurbishment was carried out which included installing PV’s, EV’s, new warehouse floor coating and upgrading the entrance lobby, offices, welfare and fascia of the property.
Its prime location offers visibility to the M27, direct access to Junction 5, and excellent transport links via Southampton International Airport and Parkway Railway Station.
