We acted on behalf of ING Real Estate Investment Management to conclude the occupation of the whole of 800 Pavilion Drive on the Northampton Business Park.

The Northampton Business Park is a 54 acre landscaped business park offering prime office space only two miles south east of Northampton town centre. 800 Pavilion Drive offers over 50,000 sq ft of office accommodation spread over three floors.

Lease re-gear negotiated

We were instructed by ING Real Estate Investment Management to negotiate a lease re-gear with Texas Instruments who wanted to reduce the amount of space they occupied in 800 Pavilion Drive.

 We were instructed to dispose of the remaining space in the building, which equated to nearly 40,000 sq ft.

One of largest Northampton office lettings in 2009

Ricoh UK Ltd, already located on the business park, was considering relocating to Milton Keynes to enable them to expand into larger office space. We knew of Ricoh’s requirement for office space and approached the company without even marketing the premises.

Despite the office market suffering one of the deepest downturns on record, we concluded one of the largest office lettings to take place in Northampton for over 12 months through letting the space to Ricoh.
