Planning Fee Increases!
From 1st April 2025 planning application fees are due to increase. The increases are summarised below:

Please note any applications prepared in ‘draft’ or those with a ‘payment pending’ status will be updated to reflect the change in fees.
If you are submitting an application via Planning Portal the website will be unavailable from 5pm on Monday 31st March 2025 until 1st April 2025, consequently all applications should be submitted and paid before 5pm to avoid the increase in planning application fees. Any planning fees paid by bank transfer have to be initiated by 26th March 2025 and any payments via cheque should have been with Planning Portal by 19th March 2025.
In addition, the cost of submitting an application via Planning Portal will increase with effect from 31st March 2025. The service charge fee will increase to £70.83 + VAT (£84.40). The minimum threshold fee has increased from £60 to £100 (any applications under £100 will not incur a Planning Portal service charge).
