Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), has become an official supporter of GB Snowsports team. The partnership will support the GB team on its journey to the Winter Olympics and Paralympics and reflects a commitment to fostering sporting excellence and celebrating the best of British talent on the global stage.
This alliance adds vital backing and resources to the athletes preparing for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics Milano Cortina 2026 as they gear up for the selection process and beyond. Key GB hopefuls include Mia Brookes (freestyle snowboard), Charlotte Bankes and Huw Nightingale (team snowboard cross) and Neil Simpson (para alpine), who will be all heading into the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games qualifying period beginning at the start of the 2024/25 season.
Ezra Nahome, CEO of LSH, said:
"As staunch advocates of the transformative power of sports within communities, we are proud to support the GB Snowsport Team in its quest to bring home a gold medal for Team GB in the Winter Olympics Milano Cortina 2026. Success here would open the door to additional funding to provide more opportunities for the next generation of British snowsports athletes”.
Vicky Gosling, GB Snowsport chief executive, added:
"The dedication and commitment shown by our athletes in recent competitions have set the stage for a promising showcase at the 2026 Winter Games. We are immensely grateful for the support from LSH, as all our official supporters play a pivotal role in our pursuit of success”.
This partnership aligns with LSH’s rich history in snowsports, as the organiser of the Lambert Smith Hampton Ski Challenge and Business Forum. Started in 1987, it is now the most successful winter event for the property industry, with the bi-annual event held in Courmayeur bringing together owners, occupiers, fund managers and managing directors from some of the largest property companies in the UK.
GB Snowsport is the high-performance national governing body for British Olympic and Paralympic skiing and snowboarding. Supporting athletes competing across 12 snowsport disciplines, GB Snowsport has led efforts which have helped make Britain’s skiers and snowboarders some of the world’s most successful athletes.
