Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) have completed the sale of Unit 4, South Leeds Trade Centre to a private individual. The purchaser intends to occupy the property with some of their group businesses, namely Exxollon, retailers of a number of products such as fine soaps and face scrubs.
The sale, despite occurring amid the COVID-19 pandemic, further demonstrates the strength and resilience of the freehold market especially within the industrial and logistics sector. The property attracted significant interest and was subject to bids from a number of interested parties.
Situated just off Belle Isle Road, the property forms part of the popular South Leeds Trade Centre and offers easy access to the M621 motorway which provides access to the wider regional motorway network and is located approximately 3.6 miles south of Leeds City Centre.
Scott Morrison, Director – Industrial & Logistics at Lambert Smith Hampton said:
“Despite the challenges of the current pandemic, there is pent up demand from occupiers in the freehold market for established industrial space. This deal was initiated at the start of lockdown and transacted through an uncertain period and there were also under bidders looking to purchase the unit too. We were delighted to sell this for our client and it will provide much needed space for Exxollon who have multiple businesses within their group looking to utilise the property.”
