Jon Anderson joined the Leeds office as director 12 months ago having previously worked for Bucknall Austin in the Midlands and Sanderson Weatherall, GVA and AA Projects in Yorkshire.

Since joining LSH, Jon has seen the Building Consultancy team grow from four to eight with six in Leeds – including new senior surveyor Lee McCardle who joined the firm in January from Eddisons – and two in Sheffield, with another surveyor being added there soon.

He said: “We have enjoyed an incredibly strong 12 months and the growth in our Building Consultancy team in Yorkshire is testament to a significant improvement in the transactional side of the business as the market continues to improve.

“What has been particularly encouraging is the variety of work that is being won by the team that ranges from retained clients to working with funds and is leading to significant spin off work in the regions.

“This is a fantastic time to be taking over the reins at Lambert Smith Hampton’s Leeds office as we continue to grow and make key appointments such as the recent arrival of Simon Rhodes as head of industrial.
