Site Security

Working with our partners, we are able to arrange the security of both sites and assets, locksmiths, alarm and camera systems, fencing and barriers, security patrols etc. if required, as well as asset collections to secure locations

Site and Asset Risk Assessment

We put the health and safety of our employees, contractors, members of the public and other stakeholders at the forefront of our activities and the risk assessment process starts from day one of the project and will risk assess the site and all activities that will be under our control from site preparation right through to hand back. Where clients are remaining in occupation we can arrange a Health and Safety review of the property. Our team includes a highly qualified Health & Safety expert and all our project managers and site representatives are SSSTS and First Aid trained. 

Site and asset preparation and cataloguing

LSH know that well-presented assets and auction site, as well as clear, detailed and accurate lot descriptions can enhance saleability and optimise realisations. We recognises the value that can be added to any sale by both the low and high value assets, as well as how the equipment is presented both during advertising, inspection & auction viewing
Advertising

As well as having an extensive list of buyers built up over decades of practice we will also use our technical and market expertise to attract the right buyers through a mix of digital and traditional advertising methods utilising sector specific platforms and targeted marketing

Supervised viewing and collection

A view day allows potential buyers to inspect items to verify specifications reassuring themselves of suitability and condition giving them greater confidence when assigning value. Once purchased, decommissioning, dismantling and loading are the responsibility of the purchaser having the dual benefit of reducing cost to the vendor and giving confidence to the purchaser that the process has been carried out to their satisfaction. In addition our team have built up extensive connections with machine movers and hauliers and can provide details of experienced contractors for one off collections, or complete plant

CDM Project Management

Many site clearances can fall under the The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and our team are uniquely positioned with the experience, skills and qualifications to know when this applies, advise the client of their responsibilities and project manage sales which fall under these regulations. We are able to carry out the roles of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, in-house resulting in significant cost savings to the client.

Invoicing, Accounting and Customer Service

We have an experienced centralised accounts and administration team who take care of our purchasers enquires, invoicing ,  payment collection and  credit control as well as managing exports and ensuring compliance with all the regulations and legislations that auction sales fall under including VAT accounting, Money Laundering Regulations 2017, Sanctions Checking and GDPR.

LSH operates in accordance with relevant regulations as laid out by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) for the handling of clients’ monies. Clients’ monies is retained in separate and independently audited Client Bank Accounts and handled in accordance with the RICS Members Accounting Rules. The firm is a member of the Clients Money Bonded Scheme.
