We have been appointed by the BBC to dispose of their leasehold interest at Bridge House, one of three buildings they occupy, at MediaCity, following a reappraisal of its space requirements.

The iconic waterfront property provides c. 105,000 sq ft of office space across seven floors, with the building available as a whole or on a floor-by-floor basis. The high specification of Bridge House – incorporating a mix of open-plan desking, meeting rooms and collaborative space – offers new occupiers a ‘plug and play’ opportunity to start work immediately.

MediaCity is a landmark destination with a thriving digital and media community, with major occupiers in addition to the BBC – which will retain a large presence at the wider scheme at Dock and Quay House – including ITV and the University of Salford.

With a dedicated Metrolink station providing connectivity to the city centre, Manchester Airport and the wider Greater Manchester transport network, Bridge House also has parking available. In addition to its reputation as a business location, MediaCity and the wider Salford Quays area is a destination for the shopping, theatre, events and entertainment.

The BBC has committed to leaving Bridge House by spring 2024 in response to changing office space requirements, with the teams currently based there relocating to other buildings within the MediaCity scheme.
