Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has been appointed by Daniel Richardson and Edward Avery-Gee of CG&Co, the Administrators of Bourton Spa Ltd, to sell the historic Bourton Hall after the company went into Administration.
Grade II-listed Bourton Hall is widely regarded as one of the most attractive and historic buildings in Warwickshire. Dating back to 1791, it has been used as a single residence but more recently as commercial offices.
The hall provides 14,632 sq ft of space as well as ancillary buildings, all set within a 15.8-acre estate comprising lawn areas with mature planting, orchards, the former kitchen garden and paddocks.
A substantial stable block to the north west of the principal building has been converted into self-contained office suites with dedicated road access and parking.
Bourton Hall sits on the ridge within the Bourton on Dunsmore village with imposing views over Draycote water reservoir and the surrounding villages.
Tim Simmons, Director at Lambert Smith Hampton, said, “The property may be suitable for a variety of uses including hotel and leisure, residential conversion and commercial development, subject to planning. We have received good initial interest from a wide range of interested parties and we are pleased to be advising the Administrators in relation to maximising the value for creditors.”
Daniel Richardson, Partner at CG&Co, said, “The Administrators are of the opinion that Bourton Hall offers a unique opportunity within the market to acquire a standout property in the region. We are delighted to have Lambert Smith Hampton on board to assist in the sale of the property, given their standing within the sector.
