Big Lottery Fund (BLF), which awards grants to UK organisations to help improve their communities, has taken 12,500 sq ft on the second floor and part of the third floor at the building on the corner of Wellington Street and Cadogan Street.
BLF is relocating from Atlantic Quay and has agreed a 5-year lease at £16.50 per sq ft.
Kirsty Nairn, Head of Corporate Management (Scotland) at Big Lottery Fund commented: “The location of Pacific House, in the heart of Glasgow city centre and close to excellent public transport links, enables the Big Lottery Fund to connect more easily with communities across Scotland.
“By splitting our office space across the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building we have created distinct space for desking and collaboration/breakout activity, as well as a dedicated meeting room suite which allows us to host meetings and events for third sector organisations,” added Kirsty.
Law firm Levy & McRae has also opted for office space at Pacific House, agreeing a five-year lease for 7,000 sq ft on the sixth floor at £17.50 per sq ft.
Eunice Loftus, Office Manager at Levy McRae commented: “Pacific House was selected as it offered us the opportunity to relocate into bright, refurbished accommodation with excellent transport links.
“It provides space for growth and has been well received by clients, staff and management and we are already seeing significant benefits from our move to Pacific House,” added Eunice.
On top of the new deals, two regears have been brokered at Pacific House. Commercial Property and Real Estate advisers CBRE has agreed a 5-year regear on its Ground and First Floor leases and has also taken a new lease on half of the 4th floor.
Similarly, Ernst & Young has agreed a five-year regear on 4,000 sq ft of office space at the building.
Aasia Mohammad, Associate Director of Business Space at LSH in Glasgow, commented: “The building and office accommodation has been comprehensively refurbished and along with the flexible floor space and CBD location, Pacific House is an attractive proposition for businesses.
“The building also provides basement parking and excellent transport links with major train stations within minutes walk, while the main bus routes of Argyle Street, Hope Street and St Vincent Street are also nearby,” added Aasia.
Around 11,000 sq ft of modern, refurbished office accommodation remains available at Pacific House including the fifth floor, with private terrace and part of the fourth floor. The quoting rental is £18.50 per sq ft.
