A Sheffield company that is developing a Smartphone based system which records and analyses driving performance is moving its headquarters from one historic city building to another.

Lambert Smith Hampton’s Sheffield based agency team secured the letting of the top floor of the recently renamed OXO House in Joiner Street on behalf of The Floow, which is relocating from Aizelwood’s Mill on Nursery Street.

Relocating at the end of the month, The Floow joins existing tenants Swanke Hayden Connell Architects who occupy the third floor and online brand communications specialist, Side by Side creative, who has space on the ground floor.

Built in 1936 by George Longden & Son, the building was originally a storage and administration facility for OXO. The building owner, Thorndale Ltd, was given permission by Premier Foods to rename the building OXO House following an extensive £1.5m refurbishment and redevelopment of the building.

Maintaining its original Art Deco style, the building boasts features such as oak panelling, bespoke cast aluminium door handles and Philippe Starck Egg chairs that were rescued from the Business Class lounge at the Eurostar terminal at Waterloo before its move to St Pancras.
