Agency teams from Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) have landed a hat-trick of top accolades at the 2024 CoStar Awards. The awards, which recognise and celebrate commercial real estate’s top agencies across the UK, were announced on 1 March 2024. The annual awards are based on a detailed analysis of the thousands of deals collated by analysts during the course of 2023.

We netted two awards in the industrial category, topping the rankings for both most active disposal agent in terms of sq ft and number of deals in the south-east region, transacting 731,000 sq ft across 67 deals. The agency’s south-coast office agency team also topped the charts for most active disposal agent in volume of sq ft, concluding some 112,000 sq ft of deals.

Key deals undertaken by our agency teams during 2023 include, Radial 27 Segensworth, a 71,542 sq ft warehouse let on behalf of Urban Logistics REIT to PFSweb, achieving a significant uplift on the rent with a nil void and 1 Royal London Park, a 59,900 sq ft of warehouse let on behalf of Royal London Asset Management to Oriental Merchant, achieving a new headline rent and being fully let prior to completion.

Other highlights include a hat-trick of office leasing deals in 2023 at #StonehamPark, and over 72,200 square foot of space let - including 10 new leases and renewals - at Lakeside Northarbour on behalf of Portsmouth City Council.

In addition to scooping three top awards, we claimed the second spot in the south coast office agency categories for most active disposal in terms of number of deals and most active acquisitions agent.

Dan Rawlings, head of LSH’s south-east industrial agency team, said: “These awards are always a benchmark of agency performance given that they are based on transactional volumes alone. We are pleased to have featured so highly across a range of markets in the south-east and to see to our hard-working agency teams recognised in this way”.

Andy Hodgekinson, Senior Director and Head of Office at LSH, added: “Our extensive regional footprint puts us closer to the heart of our markets and our clients’ needs. This is reflected in the transactional volumes we have recorded in the past year, despite some challenging market conditions”.

With a network of eight offices across the south-east and south-coast market, LSH offers one of the largest regional agency networks in the UK.
